NEW! STRATEGIC PLANNING GRADES PreK-3 PARENT FORUMS - The Readington Township learning community is preparing for the development of its 2026-2031 Strategic Plan. As part of this process, all parents will soon have the opportunity to respond to an online survey that includes open-ended questions and an opportunity for comment. Additionally, all parents are invited to join a virtual forum and/or an in-person forum with our facilitator, Judith Wilson. The forums are voluntary and no notes will be attributed to individuals. Parents of students in grades PreK-3 are invited to join the following virtual forum: March 3 @ 7:00 p.m. / PreK-3 Parents Virtual An in-person forum will be held on March 4th at 9:00 AM in the Board Office conference room attached to Holland Brook School at 52 Readington Road. While we have reserved specific times for each grade-band in the, please review all forum dates and times on our website and feel free to attend the one most convenient for you. Your ideas and recommendations will provide valuable input for this important work.

Please consider volunteering to guide students through an activity during our spring mini-courses on Friday, 3/27 from 3:15-4:30.  Parent volunteers can instruct a course of their choosing or you can volunteer to teach a course that we assign you (past examples include making Harry Potter wands or building Bird Houses). Dear Families, 
Thank you for registering for the 2026 Science Fair.  Registration is NOW CLOSED.  Should you have any questions, comments, or changes to your registration, please contact Mrs. Nabozny at

Here is information for participants:
The Science Fair will be held on Monday, February 23rd for grades K and 1, and Tuesday, February 24th for grades 2 and 3.
The Science Fair will be held from 5:30-7:00 p.m.
Projects for registered students can be dropped off in the TBS cafetorium beginning at 5:15 p.m. on the day of the fair. Tables will be set up and labeled by grade, so please ensure that you set your project up on the appropriate table. 
All projects should be in place by 5:30 p.m. Please do not have your child bring the project to school on the morning of the fair as we have very limited space to store the projects. 
Please be sure to check off your child’s name on the registration packet at the door, so we know which children are present to ensure that no one is missed when awards are presented.  
All projects must be taken home at the end of the fair.

NEW! Science Fair Sign Ups CLOSE this week! Deadline: Friday, February 13th.
The Science Fair will be held on two nights in February.  Monday, the 23rd  is reserved for kindergarten and first grade, and Tuesday 24th for second and third grade. The fair will take place from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. both evenings.   
By holding the event over two nights we hope to eliminate the crowding issues and also allow an element of flexibility for students who would like to participate but have other commitments. If you cannot attend the night that is scheduled for your grade level, please indicate that on the Google sign up form.   If your child would like to work and present with a sibling or friend (who must also attend TBS), please also note that on the registration form.

Parent Nominations for the Gifted and Talented Program: The Readington Township School District will begin accepting parent nominations for the Gifted and Talented Program for students in 1st-7th grade on February 4th. All parent nomination forms must be completed online no later than March 20th.  Since the assessment process will begin immediately following the nomination deadline, late entries cannot be accepted.

TBS Valentines Day Information: Valentine’s Day Classroom Celebrations.  Valentine’s Day celebrations are on the horizon! We are excited to share the love with each other. Please remember that there is a school district policy prohibiting the distribution of candy.
In addition, if you choose to hand out Valentine’s Day cards, please be sure to have one for each child in the class. Your classroom teacher will share the class list and details about the celebration.

Preschool / Grades K-1 New Student Online Registration – Readington Township Public School District is conducting full-day Preschool, Kindergarten, and First Grade new student online registration for the 2026-2027 school year. The online registration process will officially open on Monday, January 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. If your child is currently enrolled in the district’s preschool program, you do not need to register for Kindergarten. NEW! Parent Nominations for the Gifted and Talented Program: The Readington Township School District will begin accepting parent nominations for the Gifted and Talented Program for students in 1st-7th grade on February 4th. All parent nomination forms must be completed online no later than March 20th.  Since the assessment process will begin immediately following the nomination deadline, late entries cannot be accepted. 
If you are interested in nominating your child for the G&T program, please follow the link below. Students already participating in the GT program do not need to reapply.

TBS Valentines Day Information: Valentine’s Day Classroom Celebrations.  Valentine’s Day celebrations are on the horizon! We are excited to share the love with each other. Please remember that there is a school district policy prohibiting the distribution of candy.
In addition, if you choose to hand out Valentine’s Day cards, please be sure to have one for each child in the class. Your classroom teacher will share the class list and details about the celebration.

Summer Spark Enrichment Program:  Welcome all incoming K - 7th grade students.  Join us for Arts & Crafts, Cooking/Baking, Running & Sports & Singing/Performing Arts &/or STEM! 7th grade students have the option of joining our Spark Squad to gain leadership experience and earn service credit alongside their enjoyment of the program experience.

Preschool / Grades K-1 New Student Online Registration – Readington Township Public School District is conducting full-day Preschool, Kindergarten, and First Grade new student online registration for the 2026-2027 school year. The online registration process will officially open on Monday, January 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. If your child is currently enrolled in the district’s preschool program, you do not need to register for Kindergarten. Spring Mini Courses: Parent Instructors Needed! Please consider volunteering to guide students through an activity during our spring mini-courses on Friday, 3/27 from 3:15-4:30.  Parent volunteers can instruct a course of their choosing or you can volunteer to teach a course that we assign you (past examples include making Harry Potter wands or building Bird Houses). Parent volunteers who teach mini-courses are eligible for two of their children to attend at no charge! Sign up HERE

Spirit Wear Sale - Starts Friday! The HSA Spring Spirit Wear Sale starts on Friday, February 6th!  Store site information will be pushed out on PTBoard and the HSA Facebook page on Friday and next Wednesday in the Genesis Blast.  Is your child moving up to a different Readington school in September?  Now is the perfect time to grab spirit wear for the school they’re moving up to (spirit days start early in September!)  The HSA is working with a local Readington business (ChillHippo) for this sale.  Purchasing spirit wear during this sale is a great way to support the HSA and a local business!                     

Coming Soon: The Cash Calendar! We’re excited to introduce a brand new HSA fundraiser: the Cash Calendar Raffle game! For $10, you can purchase a game card to give you 22 chances to win, with a winner announced every weekday for the entire month of March. More than $1400 in cash and prizes have been donated by our generous local sponsors! You can buy multiple cards for more chances to win.
It’s simple, fun, and supports the programs and experiences the HSA provides for our students.
